Beware: Scammers are active on behalf of Yonglo

Unfortunately, we've recently received an increasing number of reports from scammers and spammers who are abusing our name, logos, and even photos. They pose as Yonglo and approach our customers with misleading emails. These messages often look professional and can therefore cause confusion.

Always check the sender's email address

The most important way to recognize a genuine Yonglo email is to check the sender's email address. All official Yonglo communications are sent exclusively from an email address ending in: @ yonglo.com. Example of a reliable email from Yonglo: joris@yonglo.com

With spoofed emails, you often see the sender using a generic email address, such as a Gmail account. We never send emails from such addresses . So, if you see an email address that doesn't end with @yonglo.com , you can assume it's spam or phishing. If you receive an email from a different domain, such as @ gmail.com , @ outlook.com , or a similar address, it didn't come from us.

Emails in English and Dutch

In most cases, these fake messages are sent in English. However, we're also seeing scammers increasingly using Dutch to appear more trustworthy. This makes it especially important to be vigilant and not simply rely on the content or tone of an email.

Did you receive a suspicious email?

If you receive an email you don't trust, don't click on any links, open any attachments, or share any personal or company-sensitive information. We recommend immediately reporting this email as spam through your email program and then deleting the message.

Why are you receiving these emails?

Your email address is visible on your website, and your website is sometimes also listed in our portfolio. Scammers use this publicly available information to target customers. There's no hack or data breach; it's simply misuse of publicly accessible information.
