Adding manage preferences button

After users make a choice about which cookies to accept, they should always be able to update their preferences later. The Manage Preferences button makes this possible.
This button behaves just like any standard Wix element, so you have full control over its design and styling.

Choose a style — Select from three display options:
Text link — A simple clickable text link
Button — A standard styled button
Icon — A compact icon
FAQ
Do I need coding experience to add a cookie preferences link to my site?
No. Adding a cookie settings button is done entirely through the Wix Editor using a simple point-and-click workflow. No coding or technical knowledge is required to set it up and customize it.
Will the cookie consent button appear on all pages of my Wix site?
If you pin the manage cookies button to the screen or place it in a shared footer, it will automatically appear across all pages. If you place it in a section that only exists on a single page, visitors will only see it there.
Can I customize the design of the cookie management button?
Yes. The cookie preferences element behaves like any standard Wix element, so you can fully customize its appearance. You can choose between three display formats: a text link, a styled button, or a compact icon to match your site's design.
Where should I place the cookie settings link on my website?
The two most common placements are in your site's footer or pinned to the screen. Pinning the cookie consent link to the screen is recommended, as it stays visible and accessible on every page regardless of where the user scrolls.
Why do I need a cookie preferences button on my Wix site?
Privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA require that visitors can update their cookie consent at any time. Adding a manage preferences button ensures your site stays compliant and gives users control over their privacy settings.
